We Love Video Games
We love video games so much, that we can’t stop making them even when we’re off the clock. Below are a selection of several video games we’ve made for game jams (roughly week-long events where participants build video games from scratch). You can download and play all of them, for free! If you want to stay up-to-date on any upcoming game jams that we will participate in, make sure to join our Discord community.
Campfire Stories with Gobbo
This game was created in 3 hours for the Trijam #308. This is the shortest amount of time we’ve made a finished game, and we couldn’t be prouder of Gobbo and Furny’s official video game debut ahead of Rogue Climber. Let us know how your campfire story turns out in our Discord 😄
Ninja Showdown
This was created in 3 days for the Wowie Jam 4.0. Despite the shorter timeline, this is the most ambitiously scoped game jam project we’ve worked on. An open world, multiple enemy types, progression, multiple special abilities… it’s worth playing, but don’t blame us if you don’t want to stop.
Desert Bus
These games were developed for the annual Desert Bus for Hope Game Jam, hosted on itch.io. Each is an entirely different take on what Desert Bus can be, and we’re excited to present three of our favorite games we’ve worked on. Give them a try, and let us know how you enjoy them. Check out each game’s site for more information and a description of the controls.
Desert Bus 100
In this game, you play as an undercover cop who travels through time and collects ancient artifacts to discover the truth behind the mystery of Gazoolgo.
Okay, no, you don't do any of that. You're a desert bus (100) and you have to collect (100) candies before the evil Emperor Zoltar blows you up with meteors or blasts you away with lasers.
Sleepless in Desert Bus
You are a Desert Bus on a quest to get from Tucson, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada, and of course the way to do that is level up your speed by cutting cacti in twain with your energy axe and jumping there, right? Of course.
Cut cacti in half with your axe to level up. Level up to increase your speed. But, don't fall asleep at the wheel! Drink coffee to stay awake, and to power up your laser. Once you've powered up your laser, unleash heck upon thee cacti.
Desert Bus: Road Rage
You take control of the Desert Bus, one interaction at a time, to drive your way to Las Vegas, Nevada. Watch out for enemies and exploding cacti, and good luck keeping your sanity! Remember, we believe in you! The only way to truly lose is to give up. So hang in there!
Be sure to check out the tips on the download page; doing so will save you a lot of heartache later on!
